I found that they do make a 2K paint in satin black, which is what he wants, so with the proper primer, that should work. In the past, I have alway used the spray max 2K paint for the final coat because it will not be resolved by gas.

I've used the cheap harbor freight plastic welding soldering iron and ABS filler rods with good success on a couple of Ninja 250's.
