The same thing happened to me - the clutch lever fit perfectly; the brake lever - not so much.
I did have to contact the seller, and they sent the correct piece. They attempted to charge me shipping, which I refused. Then, I had to rebuild the lever with the correct mount, once it arrived. Way too much effort all the way around.
Again, this is the last time that I purchase levers from overseas. Live and learn, right?
