Swapping EX500 cluster onto 250 bike.

I have a cluster from a 1996 ex500 I want to put on my 250 because reasons.

So the 500 cluster's lights work correctly, the oil, turn signals, high beam, and speedometer work after repinning the plugs. The tachometer doesn't seem to read correctly however. My idle was at about 900 on the 250 cluster. The 500 cluster shows it more like 400. Opening both clusters up, looking at the tach alone on both, they have the same IC chip and capacitors, just a couple different resistors and there's a trimmer I'm curious about if it may be able to be adjusted to calibrate the tach.

I adjusted the little blue trimmer on the circuit board and it made the gauge read closer to what it seems like it should, close enough for what I want it for.
