Maybe it's a visual thing, with a clearer view of the plane of the road in my peripheral vision. In any case, I'm amazed when I see someone taking corners well, but staying in line with the centerline of the bike.
Maybe it's a visual thing for sure. Head position and how well you can see with your peripheral view has a huge impact on how comfortable you feel when riding.
