Seconded, I had a Bell helmet with a transition visor and can't imagine anything better for commuting. Before that it was always a compromise or a shield switch when I got off work. My shifts were from 4pm to midnight/2am so bright and sunny on the way in and pitch black on the way home.

I can also attest that both brands crash very well so long as the fit is correct for your head. They're both well worth the investment.
