I got one and have mixed feelings. I don't see it completely replacing either my clear or dark smoke shields. It's not quite as dark as the tint for when it's really sunny out. And if it's a cloudy day, it'll still have a bit of tint to it (it does go clear at night). That said, it's great to have if you're going out late or doing a road trip and don't want to bother with lugging around an extra shield.
