I put a length of gas line on the bottom nipple of the carb float bowls, it was a loose fit as the gas line was a bit bigger than the nipple, but I held some pressure against the line to keep it on the nipple.
With the fairing on, I can see the drain screws easy enough, so it would be no problem getting the gas line in to drain the carbs.
Used the drain tool to lossen the drain screw, then drained the gas in to a measuring cup I use just for bike stuff.
Then poured the gas back into the gas tank.

Carbs now drained and ready for 5 months storage.
