I was going to route wiring into the sides of the tail and keep it covered up there. The only problem I see is in a wet race getting water up there.

There is a lower lip on either side that has the ability to be bolted to the stock undertail. Hense another reason to keep the undertail.
The two indents on the top of the tail are for race subframes only.
