Hello from New Orleans
Hello all, finally decided to make an account here after a year or so of occasionally popping on to look for information. (For which I am most grateful)
I have a rather peculiar story concerning motorcycles. My best friend since high school owns and races a 2006 GSXR 600 in WERA superstock novice and I have been out with him at more than a few trackdays at NOLA Motorsports park. I do photography and have served as a track photog a fair number of times at NOLA as well.
Eventually I got bit by the bug to ride and my friend offered me his old 2005 Ninja 250 to ride as my own track bike. A set of tires, levers, and track gear later (along with about 700 vinyl stickers), and I am fully addicted. It's been down plenty of times and isn't the fastest bike in the paddock but what a fantastic joy it is to learn on as a fairly new track addict.
