Don't remove fender all way up to tail-light. Leave about 5-6cm to bolt plate-bracket to it.
I want to use use tail-light bulb to light up licence-plate too. Looking for way to cover up bottom of tail-light with clear plastic if I cut an opening. Might just get some small LED lights. |
I read this post a-little late. I just had my tail light off and noticed a transparent red rectangle glued to the underside of the center tail light lens. You could try poping that out and cutting a piece of CD clear plastic jewel case to fit and glue that in to light your license plate. I would think any plastic styrene cement (Testors?) would work.
