Waterproof momentary switch mounted to fairing. Wire unit up to bike battery with a small fuse (rated for the load to the opener...not much required). Store the unit under the seat and you are set.

Relatively simple install.

Or you could be really easy and just mount the opener under the seat, wire up the switch and just run it off the battery in the unit itself.
