No, this isn't about matching colors. Say you build a cafe' bike and your gear is racing leather A-stars jacket, $100 gloves, and Shoei Qwest.

Would that guy look funny on an old school cafe bike?

What about the guy with a Biltwell 3/4, Classic Perfecto, fingerless gloves guy riding a ZX6R?
