A neglected O-Ring chain will run what, 12,000 miles?
I assume a neglected non-o-ring chain is less than 5000 miles (never used one).
So if something this simple can make those last longer, awesome! The Scott oilers are cool but they're a little more involved. They've proven the concept though. Good lubrication maintains chains. Go figure.
