There are great advantages to FI other than just the cold starting / cold running issues of small carbed bikes. One big one is how much less likely a rider has problems with a bike when it sits for any length of time. There are a bajillion threads on this board alone with "my bike won't start" topics, and if all of our bikes were FI, there would be less than a quarter bajillion, keeping all other variables constant.
