I was wondering if anyone of you have had this problem. I have Overhead Door brand Python 2 garage door openers. They are totally separate from eachother. Each have their own remote and their own wall switch. They open and close fine (most important thing). The light doesn't work on either one (one was working until about a year ago, the other until a week ago). First step I tried bulbs which work fine in a lamp, but don't work on the opener. The lights don't work whether I open the door or use the buttons on the wall that just control the lights. I did notice that the unit does click when I press the wall mounted light buttons. Therefore I am guessing the circuit and the board are fine. I called OHD but don't really want to spend $98 on a service call when I could always just mount a motion sensing light in the garage. Some forums say to just change the light socket if you can hear the click. Any thoughts?
