I did the exact same thing, plus pre load adjusters in front, no emulators though. I got shorter dog bons though and the rear raised an inch i would say, bike feels AWESOME. Only rode it around the track though, so i wasnt able to check how it was over bumps. Felt super solid and stable all the time.

To add real information though, i did the opposite of you for my install. I drills the GSXR shock holes out and ground the gsxr shock to fit over the arm of the 250. My reason was its prob easier and cheaper for me to replace the gsxr shock than anything on my ninja.
