These small bikes are getting better and better (I can't comment on the KTM though). I thought the Ninja 300 was a great improvement over the carb'd 250, and then Yamaha came out with the latest R3 which is fantastic. I would have trouble deciding between the R3 and the Ninja 400... good thing I don't need a bike any time soon.
