what you gotta get good at doing is put it in neutral, kill the engine, turn off the ignition, and flip down the sidestand (all while coasting through the parking lot into your spot btw
) so you can look super badass when you just pull out the keys and hop off right as it comes to a stop. just swing the right leg over and walk away. let that pesky sidestand catch the bike itself; who needs to make sure that it stays standing?? Looks more BA when you don't care
although I have actually done this a few times in a parking lot before and it
did make me feel pretty good about myself that I didn't drop it. I literally hopped off like you can do on a bicycle by standing on the left pedal and swinging your right leg over the bike as you come to a stop
