T6 is decent, but is known to shear down fairly rapidly.

I ran it in my SV650 for a while, but noticed that after a thousand miles the shifting did degrade. Now I run Redline cycle oil (Group V) and it doesn't change.

The advantage to T6 is the cost. It's the least expensive "synthetic" (Group III) that has the proper additive package (ZDDP levels mostly) for a cycle engine.

It's a trade-off. Spend twice as much for an oil that lasts twice as long, or change it more frequently.
