Thank you Gordon, it was my bosses snowblower, it has a 4HP Briggs engine which was fairly new - just 3 years old but they put some ethanol non stabilized gas there and it sat for almost two years (we had a warm winter back then) next winter- no start. I have the same engine and it was also seating for the same time for the very same reason. It started from the first pull. But I completely drain the tank and use all the gas in the the bowl and I do use stabilizer and ethanol free gas.
At the end of the day he paid about 80US and bought another carb and sold the blower
