Well, there's Formula E...
The trouble is, Formula E sucks so bad it's unwatchable... but that's really because they only run on idiotic, ridiculously tight street circuits. Nothing but point, shoot, turn 90 degrees, repeat, with maybe an occasional hairpin. The IndyCar street races are the same. Can't really pass unless someone either hits the wall in front of you or you stuff them into it. Either way, it usually results in a pileup. Yawn.
I'd like to see the cars on a real race track.
The need to manage energy adds an interesting strategic element to it. There's also the whole swap-car pit stop thing... potential source of drama there.
