Another possibility that could cause the symptoms you described is the vacuum line between the carb and petcock that opens the petcock when the engine is running. Maybe it isn't providing enough vacuum "pull" to flow enough fuel for the engine to run properly.
Yes, line and filter were already in place. I just replaced line n filter w a new one. I'll check vacuum tomorrow n keep u posted. Thanks for ur wisdom.
