What do you mean won't hold idle?? It dies? Or the idle goes up and down? If it has been sitting awhile things may be in iffy condition. Riding it could help depending on the problem but probably wouldn't change anything if there's fresh gas in it already. If the idle flops around it could need the carbs synced. Or a valve adjustment. If it dies maybe the guys didn't do a very good job cleaning it.
What exactly does the bike do that you don't want it to do?
