I've got no experience with anything but Pit Bull. Not sure if you can pick up a new rearstand for $100, but if you keep your eyes open on craigslist or other bike boards they come up for sale from time to time.

There are some pics of Pit Bull and another rear stand in this thread, not sure which make Kkim's bike is lifted on.
