To the OP, the baby Ninja is a fun bike. I used it for track and currently my commuter bike as well. I have the last 250 and it's been reliable since inception. I have over 20k on it and cruise around 80-90mph all day no problem. It's great on gas and cheap to maintain.
I rode a 300 a few times, if money is no issue then I would go for a 300 it's just a better overall bike. I bought my 250 when I was in college and have no desire to let it go. I'll just have someone install a new motor after the original one goes out, or do a performance build who knows. If I get another bike, it's gonna be the new Ninja 400!
