Cool I Will bow to greater experience
on reflection you would need the o rings for accurate setup before re inserting the sealing blanks. re which it might be an interesting experiment to set the jets to book value and then blank the aperture with a square of duct tape or blue tack and see if the idle smooths out
(It was the op misreading and implying I was an idiot confusing the tamper blank with the o ring washers that irked me, as it would any one. )
