You could try washing them in warm soapy water (NO harsh chemicals), followed by bathing them in a product called Rubber Renue...see what happens. But NO GUARANTEES.

Next cheapest option? Probably...look for used slides or salvage carbs on the board here? Or ebay?

if interested I've got a fully refurbed, like new carbset in stock for '08-'12 models (you didn't specify what year you've got in your post)

No chemicals. But the old fuel was two years old and had Stabil in it.

After massaging them a bit and letting them sit - i was able to get them back to "normal" form and get them to seat in the carbs again. Didn't open the other side because I don't want to tempt fate.

I took out the bowls and cleaned the jets, etc with carb cleaner.

Any other thoughts before I reassemble and try to start?

Going to hit a bicycle ride and try to wrap this up tonight.

I've got aftermarket rubbers in stock, they require intense surgery to swap over....but can do if needed.
