Yay! I'm glad you got the course! I know I was very glad I took the course and I'm probably kind of a broken record because I have a lot of people tell me they want to ride a bike but are scared or whatever, and my response is always to take the safety class. It really was that helpful for me.

Like you say, for a person who's sat on a bike, that opening bit with walking the bike seems tedious, but they want to make sure everybody's on the same page and they're taking absolute beginners into account. I figured they'd get to the good stuff soon enough, and we did.
