crazymadbastard, I still couldnt get both sides to get on however, after spending the last few days fighting with it i took an exacto knife a made ever so slight of a bevel along the inside edge. It didnt drop right in, but I did manage to get it to fit with much less verbal lubrication.
Who knew this would be more frustrating then the valve adjustment lol
