The bike is a lemon. While I recognize that beggars can't be choosers, I just don't have any free time and can't see myself getting the bike roadworthy for at least another year. Plus, it's a lot more expensive to do that kind of thing on a supersport, anyway. He has another person who has the time that I suggested he give it to, instead.
It hurts me to turn down a free motorbike, but I'm happier with the idea of it being given to someone who will actually fix and ride the damn thing rather than it further dilapidating under my care.
It also made my fellas retract into my gut when I got on the throttle. I can see why people love these bikes. Maybe I'll regret this decision later lol.
