Hard to beat Michelin Pilot Roads for wet grip. Haven't tried them on the Ninja, but I can get a knee down on my Bonnie with PR4s in the dry. I did my first wet track day on them, I'd say it's not as good as real rains, but definitely better than a DOT race tire. If you're in mixed/drying conditions, it might be truly viable vs the other options.
