I'd be interested in this. Back when I rode a Ninjette on the daily I would get almost 60mpg. This was almost 10 years ago and on a different bike (same engine though now that I think about it... this one was swapped out). My SV would get 55-58mpg running 87 octane when I commuted on it which really gave me an appreciation for the midsize bikes. They really are the best of both worlds. The 250s have to run near their ceiling all the time which hurts their efficiency. It's crazy to see a 250 getting the same mpg that big sport touring bikes get.
