I've always believed in having higher petrol prices.
With extra monies going to infrastructure upgrades and transportation research.
Instead all this extra money is going directly towards income for oil companies, who are paying it all out for executive compensation to show zero profits. Thus they don't have to pay any taxes. Oil companies making +$50-billion not having to pay single cent in taxes!!! And they're still getting paid subsidies from government using our tax dollars... grrrr
