Do a bixenon in the low beam only. Keep the Halogen high. Tether the bixenon solenoid to be powered in addition to the halogen high. Best of both worlds. Good color mixture by adding the halogen. Using HID only for high beams makes the color wash out a little, which makes depth perception a little funny, IME. Plus it looks great with the asymmetry, IMO.

I'm using these on my car to fire the bixenon solenoid with my halogen high beams. It's wonderful thing when I use the high beams
