If so, the radiator should be full.

If, when riding, the overflow bottle fills and the radiator level is low after the engine has cooled, you may have a head gasket issue. Try replacing the radiator cap first though.

That's what our Ninja 500 did. Had to lap the head and replace the head gasket. Pressure from the combustion chamber was over-pressurizing the cooling system and pushing the coolant out.
Not my first time putting coolant in. I know what it should look like and it wasn't acting the way it should. If it's the head gasket, that's some BS cuz the engine I just had put in is almost brand new.
