More good considerations. As soon as I finish the MSF course and register the bike, I'll take of insurance before the first ride. As for its condition, it was purchased from a bike mechanic and runs very well, though I'm not mechanically inclined at all, so I'll take it in for regular service. Is there a set schedule for that (once every 6 months, once a year, etc)? Obviously, with a 10-year old bike, it'll need some TLC.
