OK, so... just thought I'd try starting bike tonight... and it started, first time. Left it running on the drive for a while until it warmed up... didn't cut out... blipped throttle and it stayed idling perfectly... so, in for a penny as they say, took it out for a quick ride round and it ran perfectly, no noises, no misfiring etc, etc...
...which is good, but a little frustrating at the same time!
Wonder what tomorrow will bring!
