From what I have heard/read online, the 2012 and newer really tighten up the chassis and get rid of a lot of the buzzing these bikes were known for. So if you liked the '07, you'd love the newer gen ones!

Thanks! I got to ride again yesterday for about a half an hour and really am liking this bike a lot. I am starting to feel more comfortable with how it handles and the little quirks.
One thing I *really* like about this bike is that the rear view mirrors actually work! LOL! On the 250, no matter how I positioned those mirrors, I had to move my elbows in in to look behind me. On the 650, I don't have to move anything and I can actually see behind me with either mirror! It really is the little things that make me happy...
