The 650r mirrors are not only longer but they sit up alot higher. The 650 mirrors I got are from a later model bike, more angular. I think the early models had a more oval shape to them. Anyway, the newer 650 mirrors are kind of the opposite of the 250 mirrors. The wider part of the mirror is to the outside whereas ours start out wide and taper down. I'll post a pic later today to show the difference but for the most part I like the 650 mirrors even though they vibrate way more at higher speed.
