Thank you all for making me feel so welcome. I've been enjoying the Ninja everyday. On my 3rd tank of gas. What octane is the optimal grade for the EX300? Dealer's service tech told me 91. Oil & filter change next week. Are there cross-referenced alternatives to the Kawasaki brand filter?

Last night I installed some GZYF (Amazon) shorty adjustable levers (7075 aluminum) and set the clutch lever free pay correctly. It was a bit to tight initially. Clutch engages when it should now. The levers look very good, but most importantly function more effectively than the stock (fugly) items.

Tonight I removed the stock fender/mud flap/license plate holder and I assembled some short Lockhart/Phillips brushed/lacquered aluminum bullet turn-signals w/amber lenses onto a Vortex fender eliminator. I reused the wiring from the stock turn signals and bolted it up. Looks nice. I hope to post some pictures for your feedback.

Thanks to all once again for you kindness, your thoughts and insights . :-)
