ok now I still have my main key and backup key for this ignition but the new ignition is coming with 2 new keys for the new gas cap, seat lock, and obviously ignition. Would I just be able to use the new keys once I replace all of them? Wasnt sure if you were saying I had to do that or if I wanted to keep the originals. Sorry I forgot to include they destroyed my seat lock also to get the items underneath my passenger seat. Thanks for answering though. That was a lot faster than I expected. I appreciate the help.

Sorry to hear about your bike. Thieves are lowest form of scum!

Easiest to remove the upper triple-clamp so it can be clamped in vise. Then what you can do is drill out remaining secuity bolt. Use punch to make divot in centre and cobalt drill bit will remove it easily. Then remove old ignition.

Tap holes for regular bolts to install new ignition. A locksmith can re-key your new ignition with wafers from your old ignition so your previous keys can operate all locks on bike.
