Good to know, thanks. A local mechanic told me that the R3 and ... can't remember if it was Honda or Suzuki but they have weak clutches.

The Ninja 400 is significantly ahead of both from the sound of it.
As far as the KTM being rated second in another comparison, I've ridden one a fair amount and have been underwhelmed by the engine (single). Boring, even compared to an older Ninja 250 IMO.

I sat on a KTM in the shop and didn't like it at all.
I like the idea of a new bike but I don't really want to give up my current bike.
Still pondering.
