I just went out and bought all factory items for an oil change - Kawasaki filter and synthetic oil, along with all the gaskets/o-rings/washers. I was thinking rather than put in all that expensive stuff right off the bat - should I put in some cheaper oil and filter for a few rides to get the system cleaned out a bit, then put the good Kawasaki stuff in soon aftee? I just got this bike recently and the oil looks really dark in the window. Just wondering if it would be a waste of 60 bucks when I know there's some ugly oil in there right now.
