I know; weird prejudice. I've had several bigger bikes, some of which I really did not get along with. People rave about the Yamaha FJR, but the engine gave off so much heat it was unbearable. So heavy it was hard to move around garage or parking lot. And despite the mass, it felt less comfortable than the little Ninja. Anyway, the FJR is certainly better if you want to run 135 mph down the interstate---but how often do you really need to do that???
Bottom line: if you actually ride a lot and like a particular bike for whatever reason, then good for you. Otherwise, people are basing their opinions on paper statistics or peer pressure about what is worthy. Besides, if they don't ride, then what is their opinion worth anyway??
