Went on my first (mini) road trip on a motorcycle over the weekend. My husband (on his 1982 Honda Gold Wing) and myself (on my 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 250) enjoyed country highways from the Twin Cities in MN to the northern part of the state. Did a lot of motoring around just for fun, too. Lots of lakes and forests and fresh air. Put about 500 miles on the bike over the course of 3 days-- nothing dramatic, but it was a big deal for me! I was really happy that my Ninja could keep up with highway traffic for hours at a time. I did get pushed around a bit on the road by the wind and by semi trucks, but I expected that.
