Insisting on rolling fast in a sustained manner with a slipping clutch can hurt your engine (mainly bearings) because the abnormal increased temperature of the oil.
The faster you try to go, the more the clutch slips and the hotter the oil becomes while the engine is creating more torque and friction among parts.
There is no much surface in these engines too cool the oil down.
