The Joe Rocket gloves seem to be made really well, but the fingers are really short and I found my hands going numb much faster in them than the other pairs I have. I got a Medium in them, and they are really snug, where the medium in the AlpineStars seems a bit on the big side... the big difference is that the AlpineStars have room for my long fingers... My hands aren't terribly big, but my fingers are long - makes gloves tricky for me!
