FOLLOWING a three-hour police chase in West Sussex last week, police yesterday arrested a 32-year-old man in Fratton, Hampshire.
Unemployed Gavin Collett has been charged with a number of driving offences - two counts of failing to stop at the scene of an accident, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.
The arrest comes after an extensive police search.
Mr Collett will appear before Crawley Magistrate’s Court today.
