Hi Everyone,
I'm Leo (19, M) from Perth Australia.
A couple of days ago I bought a US$300 ex-stolen 2010 Ninja 250R that was mechanically 100/100 and cosmetically 0/100.
That is fine though, because I have crazy plans for it. I am planning a trip up into the Kimberly with my girlfriend in a DIY campervan. Whilst doing so I realized one of the surf spots would be a 3 kilometer walk. Easy right? Just buy a dirtbike. Well a reliable one will be US$1000 and lets just say I enjoy building things and I am not exploding with cash. So I looked for something that would suit me.
Then I saw a ninja for sale. It was claimed to be unable to start etc etc. I thought what better than Kawasaki reliability to get me there. Bought it. Hotwired it. Rode it. Its a ball of fun.
I need to make it Australian Outback ready, and thats why I am here. Hopefully some people are still interested in this bike and I can absorb some knowledge.
