Try some other configurations. Connect brown RPM wire to one of following:
B. Please connect RPM wire (type B) to connect to ignition coil positive pole. This would be red wire on either ignition coil
D. Please parallel RPM wire (type A) with original tachometer signal wire. (This method is available only when original speedometer comes with tachometer on it.) This would be black wire on left #1 ignition coil that drives factory tach.
